Above-ground pool removal in Southlake

Above-ground pools often come down when kids outgrow them or a backyard is being redesigned. We take apart the frame, liner and walls — and attached decking when it's part of the quote — and haul it all away.

How a structure removal runs

  1. 1Photos or visit

Size, anchoring and the path to the truck.

  2. 2Evaluate

Attachment points, surfaces, utilities to disconnect.

  3. 3Protect

Lawn, patio and fence lines covered where needed.

  4. 4Dismantle

Broken down in sections, not dragged out whole.

  5. 5Haul & sweep

Debris loaded, area raked or swept clear.

What's included

  • Liner removal
  • Wall panels and top rails
  • Uprights and frame
  • Ladders, steps and accessories
  • Attached wood decking when included in your quote
  • Filters and pumps once disconnected

Water removal

The pool needs to be drained before we arrive. Draining is the homeowner's responsibility — check where the water can be discharged and avoid sending it toward neighbors or storm drains improperly. If there's still water when we arrive, the job may need to be rescheduled.

Crew and volume

Larger pools usually need two to three crew members. Steel frames and wall panels are bulky rather than heavy; attached decks add significant volume. Photos of the pool, decking and the gate help us size the crew and truck.

Not in-ground pool demolition

We don't demolish or fill in-ground concrete or gunite pools. That's a separate excavation trade.

Agree on the finish point

Identify whether the quote covers only the pool or also the ladder, pump equipment and surrounding deck. Photograph the base around the pool edge and describe anything underneath that you want removed. Structural removal does not automatically include grading, new soil or turf. Planning that next step with a landscaper helps avoid confusing haul-away with a complete backyard restoration.

Scope notes

  • Electrical disconnection of pumps by a licensed electrician is required.
  • Sand base, pavers or leveling material under the pool are not included unless quoted.

Questions about above-ground pool removal

Will the grass be ruined?

The ground under a pool is usually bare or compacted after removal. We take the structure; lawn restoration is up to you or your landscaper.

Can you remove the deck around it?

Yes, when it's part of the quote. Send photos of how it's attached.

Are sheds, pergolas and hot tubs priced by truckload?

No. Structure removal is quoted as a project. Size, material, anchoring, demolition time, utilities, access and disposal determine the estimate. Concrete foundations are not automatically included.

Can I get an estimate from photos?

Yes. Text a wide photo of each space, close-ups of heavy or unusual items, and the path to the truck. Include your location and preferred timing. Larger estates and structural removals may need a walkthrough. The final price is confirmed before removal.
