Hot tub removal in Southlake

A full-size hot tub can weigh several hundred pounds empty and rarely fits through a side gate in one piece. We plan the route out, cut the shell down if needed, and haul it away.

How a structure removal runs

  1. 1Photos or visit

Size, anchoring and the path to the truck.

  2. 2Evaluate

Attachment points, surfaces, utilities to disconnect.

  3. 3Protect

Lawn, patio and fence lines covered where needed.

  4. 4Dismantle

Broken down in sections, not dragged out whole.

  5. 5Haul & sweep

Debris loaded, area raked or swept clear.

Before we arrive

The tub must be drained and electrically disconnected before removal. Disconnection should be done by a licensed electrician — we do not disconnect electrical or plumbing. Draining usually takes a few hours with the tub's drain valve or a submersible pump.

What affects the price

  • Tub size and seating capacity
  • Whether it's on a pad, on a deck or recessed into decking
  • Gate width and the path to the driveway
  • Steps, slopes or landscaping along the route
  • Whether the tub can leave whole or must be cut into sections

Decks and patios

Tubs set into wood decking may require removing deck boards or skirting to free them. We'll discuss this when quoting so it isn't a surprise. The pad or slab under the tub stays unless otherwise quoted.

Show more than the spa shell

Include photos of the cover, steps, surrounding deck and equipment area as well as the tub. State which accessories should leave and which decking should remain. Photograph the narrowest part of the exit route and any stairs. Confirm drainage and electrical disconnection before finalizing the appointment; do not assume that an empty-looking tub is safely disconnected.

Scope notes

  • Electrical disconnection and capping are the homeowner's responsibility (by a licensed electrician).
  • Concrete pads are not included unless quoted.

Questions about hot tub removal

Can you drain it for us?

Please drain it before the appointment. If that's not possible, let us know — it may affect scheduling and price.

Do you cut the tub on site?

When it won't fit out whole, yes. Cutting is done carefully and debris is cleaned up afterward.

Are sheds, pergolas and hot tubs priced by truckload?

No. Structure removal is quoted as a project. Size, material, anchoring, demolition time, utilities, access and disposal determine the estimate. Concrete foundations are not automatically included.

Can I get an estimate from photos?

Yes. Text a wide photo of each space, close-ups of heavy or unusual items, and the path to the truck. Include your location and preferred timing. Larger estates and structural removals may need a walkthrough. The final price is confirmed before removal.
