What is included in an attic cleanout?
Stored boxes, décor and furniture are carried down with ladder access, decking and heat considered first. Sort keepsakes and photograph only from safe areas. Insulation removal, mold remediation and animal contamination are outside standard junk removal.

Most attics are reached by a pull-down ladder, sometimes through a closet ceiling or garage. We ask about the access point because it decides how items come down: hand-to-hand down the ladder, bagged, or partially disassembled.
North Texas attics get extremely hot from late spring through early fall. We schedule attic work early in the day when we can and rotate the crew member working up top.

Protecting the house below
We lay protection at the base of the ladder and along the hallway, and take care not to step off decking or onto ceiling drywall. If an area isn't floored, we tell you before reaching into it.
What to show in attic photos
Photograph the access opening, ladder and landing below, then show stored contents only from areas you can safely reach. Note whether boxes sit on decking or beyond it; do not step onto exposed ceiling surfaces for a better photo. Keep the space below the hatch clear of furniture and tell us which boxes need review before anything is released.

What if we haven't sorted the boxes?
We recommend sorting anything with sentimental value first. We can bring boxes down to the garage for you to review, then haul what you release.
